Sometimes you need a helping hand.

At Mount Dora Children’s Home, we know that being a single parent can be challenging.

Especially challenging when you have experienced domestic violence or other forms of abuse, abandonment, health problems or severe financial hardships. Our residential program can provide a life-changing opportunity for those single parents who qualify and who agree to follow the terms of the program. The Single Parent Opting for Christ (SPOC) Program is based on the belief that life’s circumstances sometimes leave single parents feeling alone and hopeless.

You are not alone.

Our residential group care program provides a loving, nurturing environment for children

Children who, often through no fault of their own, are in need of a more stable home, a family and the opportunity to just be children.

Our residential group care homes provide a positive family environment for boys and girls ages six to 18. Children in this program live on our beautiful 70-acre campus in the heart of Mount Dora in modern, well-equipped group homes. We strive to provide an environment where every child has the opportunity to develop his or her God-given talents and mature into productive young adults.
