Honor and Memorial Gifts
We all know someone special, a person whose life has been an inspiration for our very own. Sometimes it is difficult to repay a person for his or her example to us. However, there is an excellent way to honor that person. Because this person has meant so much to you, you can pay tribute to them with an Honor or Memorial Gift to the Children’s Home. A letter of acknowledgement will be sent to the person or family advising them of the gift (the gift amount is not disclosed).
Corporate Matching Gifts
Many companies have programs for their employees whereby they will match charitable contributions to qualifying organizations like the Mount Dora Children’s Home. Check with your Human Resources or Payroll office to see if your company participates in this type of program. If so, please contact us so that we can provide them with a copy of our IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit status and confirmation of your gift. What a wonderful way to DOUBLE your gifts to the Children’s Home!
Donate a Vehicle
Looking for a quick way to help? Consider donating a car, boat, motorcycle, or recreational vehicle to the Children’s Home. It’s fast, easy, and best of all, tax deductible! No matter what condition the vehicle is in, we will make arrangements to have it picked up or towed to our campus or the nearest donation center. You’ll need the VIN number and a clear title in order to make a vehicle donation. If you’re in the Central Florida area, call us directly at 352-383-0762 for more information. Outside of this area, please press the “Donate” button below and follow the steps.
